"Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic the Gathering and now I'm going to discuss Platinum Angel. Platinum Angel is one of the coolest artifact creature cards ever invented. It is an artifact creature angel, which means it counts as an angel. It is a rare, out of the tenth edition, basic block as you see here. Platinum Angel costs you seven to put into play, it's again seven to put in play but you're getting a four/four. Now it is a four/four with flying which means it can only be blocked by creatures with flying and/or creatures with reach. As you see here, that mana cost would still be only around five or six but since you paid seven you're getting one of the unique abilities that you will ever see in the game. It's called a win or a stop/win. Well, it essentially stops your opponent from winning the game. You cannot lose the game, and your opponent cannot win as long as Platinum Angel is in play. What this means is, that even if you are negative one thousand you still cannot win until you're opponent finds a way to deal with Platinum Angel or to stop Platinum Angels abilities and/or effects. Once again this is a stall tactic that can be used especially if you're going to mil someone out of their library."
