"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Now, we're going to go over Robe of Mirrors. Robe of Mirrors is another card that's been around for quite some time. It's part of your utilities: static control deck. It is one blue, out of the blue set, out of the basic edition. It is a common. It is an enchantment. And the new thing is that it is an aura, which signifies that it is going to enchant a creature. To enchant a creature, you will play the spell. You will choose a creature and then you will place this enchantment behind the said creature or on top, depending on how you're playing or if you're playing this on an opponent's card. However, you would more than likely never play this on an opponent's card because it is giving you--it's giving that creature the benefit of not being the target of spells or ability, because Robe of Mirrors gives enchanted creatures shroud. Shroud is the ability that allows a creature not to be targeted by spells and/or abilities, which means that that creature is basically impenetrable to tears, direct damage, lethal direct damage, lethal damage and/or lethal abilities and/or abilities that are being tripped by other people. Once again, this only work on abilities that are activated, activated abilities, not static abilities. Static abilities will still take hold because they actually affect the world and not directly target a card. Once again, it's a very powerful card. For one, 20- 25 cents at your local store."
