"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Now, we're going to go over Dehydration. Dehydration is a very powerful enchantment card. It's been around for quite some time. It's three and a blue. Here you have--it's from the basic set. It is an enchantment, and the new thing they have added to some enchantments is that it's an aura, for special cards out of the expansions that have come out. Once again, aura means that it's going to be an enchanted creature, which means when this comes into play you're going to have to target and attach it to a creature. Now, what this does is that enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step. Once again, this is a very expensive ability for the price because there are many other cheap cards that will do the same thing and if not better, such as Frozen Solid. However when running a controlled deck, such as blue are, that means you want a lot of controlling cards. If you are running a heavy, heavy-spell blue deck such as an aquaburn, then you would need as many things that negate other opponent's creatures as you can fit in your deck. Once again, this is expensive. But once again, once you run out of the cheaper ones, you might actually need this card especially late game to deal with the big 6/6 giants or 11/11 colossus. It's a very powerful card."
