"Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today, we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic: the Gathering. Now we're going to talk about Myr Moonvessel. Myr Moonvessel is a very unique artifact. It's an artifact creature which counts as a Myr, which is a creature type that is solely based in artifacts, and Myr Moonvessel costs you one to play. Now, you're getting mana cost of one, you're getting a 1/1, however, you're also getting a free ability. It's always good to get free abilities and add to your deck. Well, when Myr Moonvessel is put into a graveyard from play, you add 1 to your mana pool. That's one (colorless) to your mana pool. So, he's put into play during your combat phase. You automatically have an additional one mana to play during your second main phase. This can be very important, because there are a lot of Sorcery spells that you can play during your second main phase to offset your opponent's next turn. This right here would be very powerful to play in a very small, artifact-overrun deck in which you can also use the mana to pay for spells during your second main phase."
