"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have--and I'm going to discuss Scion of Oona, or for the magic players out there, she is called Oona. Now, it is two and a blue. This is the most powerful fairy in the set. It is out of Lorwyn. Once again, Lorwyn is building up blue. It's building up merfolk and fairies. And once again, this creature will do just it. He is a fairy soldier. Once again, so if you are playing blue white, it will also get bonuses for soldiers. Now, here is a very interesting thing, because he's a 1/1, but you paid three, which means you're going to get at least two abilities. Well in this case, you're going to get three abilities that are going to be world abilities, world abilities for your section of the board. First off, this creature has flash, which means you can play this creature at any time you can play an instant. This is a very good card and you'll see why in a second. It also has flying; it is a 1/1 flyer, which means it could only be blocked by creatures with flying and/or creatures with reach. Then here come the big abilities. Other fairy creatures you control get +1/+1. That's every fairy you control on the board gets +1/+1 as soon as it comes into play. Also another great ability that it has is that other fairies you control have shroud, which means that they cannot be the target of spells or abilities. Now, once again, it says other, which means that this card itself does not get these two bonuses. However, back to the original statement about it being able to be played as an instant, it means you could play it during any portion of the game. So say, for instance, that your opponent has tapped mana and/or is doing something in response to them playing a spell or targeting one of your fairies, you can play this fairy and his two abilities will hit onto the stack and this includes shroud, which means that the player who has paid the mana has just burnt not only a spell but has used the mana for this turn on a target that he cant even target, which means that that automatically goes away because of the dissolving of the stack. It's a very powerful fairy card from the Lorwyn set."
