"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Now, we're going to discuss Sky Weaver. Sky Weaver is a very powerful little wizard from the blue set. Once again, wizards and fairies in the blue set. Here, we have one and a blue; it comes from the blue block. It's in your basic edition. Right now, it's in tenth edition, which means it's type two legal, which means it's tournament legal in every tournament. It's an uncommon. It will usually run you about 40-50 cents. Now, his very cool ability is he's a 2/1. Once again, you paid two mana, which means you're going to get an ability. But the reason he's not a 2/2 is because the ability is more powerful that the cost. Now, see we have here when you paid two mana, that's two mana of any kind because it's colorless, target white or black creature, gains flying until end of turn. Now, once again the blue and black cards go together, it's called control and domination, control in the blue, domination in the black. Now once again, this card is allowing you to boost your control of your own creatures, because it allows you to take a target creature, white and black, which have a lot of big guys who are on the ground and give them flying, which once again means they cannot be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or creatures with reach. It's a very powerful card and you can play it as many times as you like. This is not a tap ability, so if you have six mana open, you can create three flying creatures that do not have flying before.
