"Hi, this is Mike Lopez and today we will be discussing Red Magic Color. Now we are going to go over spitting earth. Spitting earth is a another very powerful sorcerer, a very powerful Sorcery and it is a common. Very cheap. It's 20-25 cents at your local store. You need to pick up four of these for any red deck that is going to be spell base or creature base. It doesn't matter. Any deck that has red in it needs this spell. You got one in a red. Spitting earth, when you play it, deals damage equal to the number of mountain you control to target creatures. Now you can play this before, in your first main phase before combat to take out a creature that can block or you can play it during your second main phase to take out a creature that has already blocked. But once again this card deals damage equal to the number of mountains you control. So however you many mountains you can control this deals damage equal to that to the player whether those mountains are tapped or not."
