"Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing the red Magic color. Now we're going to go over Arcane Teachings. Arcane Teachings is a card that has been around since the second edition of Magic. It is a very powerful red card. It's two and a red, it's an Enchantment. And now, once again, Enchantments are rare in red. Once again, almost all red Enchantments are Enchant creature cards. Once again, Enchanted creature gets 2/ 2 and has the ability Tap, and the creature deals one damage to target creature or player. This is once again, called a ping because it is a tap from a creature, and that doesn't have an attack. It's just ability. Now, why you would play this card is because once again, you have a Duct Crawler here, who is just a piddly 1/1, but he had a cool ability. Once again, you can pay one and a red to get blockers out of your way, as many as you can with as much Manna as you have. Now, once again, you put Arcane Teachings on Duct Crawler he becomes 2/ 2 from over here which now makes him a 3/3 with the ability to tap and ping any creature or player, but also has the ability to pay Manna to get blockers out of your way. So, as long as you have enough Manna to take out all the blockers out of the way, you can now hit your opponent for three every turn instead of just one."
