"Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we'll be discussing the red Magic color. And now we're going to go over Hearthcage Giant. Again, this is a very useful Giant; however his cost is a little high, as most big creatures are, especially with his abilities. He's six and two red. He is an Uncommon, which is good because, once again, it's about forty, fifty cents at your local store. You can just pick him up. Whenever he comes into play you put two 3/1 red Elemental Shaman creatures tokens into play. Now this is useful because he also has the ability Sacrifice an Elemental, target Giant creature that you control gets 3/ 1 until end of turn. So, once again, this Giant Warrior goes great in a Giant Elemental deck. Elementals have tendency to come out fast. You can have them come out fast, but Elementals usually have weak defense and Giants are just strong brutes. So in this essence you're just using both the speed of the Elementals and the strength of the Giants to strengthen the Giants even more to overpower your opponent. Once again, this is another key element of red cards and red decks."
