"Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing the red Magic color. Now we're going to go over Earthen Goo. Earthen Goo is a great card and you'll find out why. It's two and a red. Once again, typically a two and red will be a 2/2 creature with an ability. However, we have two very interesting abilities here. We have Trample and we have Earthen Goo gets 1/ 1 for each age counter on it. Now, here's how the age counters work. This card has a cumulative upkeep which means at the beginning of every upkeep after it comes into play you must pay either a mountain or a forest, you must tap it, in order to keep this card in play. Every time you do that, every time the card stays in play it gets a counter on it. Each, each, this is an age counter and, once again, for each age counter it gets 1/ 1. So the longer you can keep paying this upkeep the longer and stronger this creature gets. Now remember, it's cumulative so you much pay one red or green Manna for every age counter on this card. So, once again, when there's one on it you must pay one during your upkeep. When there's two you must pay two and so on and so forth. However, for two and a red this card can be extremely dangerous especially with a heavy Manna set deck."
