"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we're going to be discussing the black color from Magic Gathering, and now I'm going to discuss Peppersmoke. Peppersmoke is another powerful card from Lorwyn. It is a common card. It is tribal instant faerie which means it gets benefits for being a faerie and gives anything if you play a faerie spell, get a certain thing, then this card would count towards that. Peppersmoke costs you 1 black to play and what it does is, is that the target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn. If you control a faerie, draw a card which means other creature that you choose gets -1/-1 so its good for taking out a creature that was played first round or a little annoying 1/1 creature that has the ability such as a Lorwyn elf or another faerie or anything that is 1/1 such as a raging goblin and if you control the faerie, if you already had a faerie in play, then you get to draw a card which allows you to cycle faster through your cards which allows you get to the cards that will make your deck work and essentially that is a key to playing this card."
