"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering", and now I'm going to go over Nameless Inversion. Nameless Inversion is a powerful card out of the Lorwyn set. It is a travel instant which means it is going to have a creature type and this case has a shapeshifter. It also means that this is a changeling card which means this card is every creature type at all times so if there's any card on the board that benefits anything whether it be goblins, elves, giants, treefolk, merfolk, fairies, then this card will also get the benefits from everything that is on the board that says that it gives benefits to a creature type. Now, Nameless Inversion costs you 1 and a black and target creature gets +3/-3 and loses all creature types until end of turn. This is what they call a booster stopper. Once again, the booster stopper means that if a card is getting benefits from being other creature type, it gets rid of all of the creature types which means it's no longer giving benefits and gives it +3/-3. The reason it gives a +3 and -3 and why you would use this is because if you want to boost the person that you have that's not getting benefits or if you want a -3 from a creature that is getting benefits. Once again, the benefits go away because it has no creature type and the creature by itself is only a 3 or less, then it would die because you would have reduced it toughness to zero."
