"Hi I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we will be discussing artifacts from Magic the Gathering. And now we are going to discuss Razormane Masticore. Razormane Masticore is an artifact creature. It is a masticore. It is a rare out of the current set, out of the basic edition, as we see here by the X and Razormane Masticore costs you 5 to play. Well you pay 5 and you're getting a 5/5 so there has to be something going on. Not only are you getting a 5/5 with first strike which means it deals its combat damage first to any creature and/or player and the negative for this card that you are getting more than what you bargained for with manna production is that at the beginning of your upkeep sacrifice Razormane Masticore unless you discard a card. Once again you have to constantly discard a card from your hand into your grave yard to keep him in play. However, you might want to do this because once again it is a 5/5 on turn 5 which is very powerful and it has first strike. Also at the beginning of your draw step you may have Razormane Masticore deal a 3 damage to a target creature and once again as long as you keep him in play at the beginning of your draw phase or your draw step you can automatically deal 3 damage to a target creature for free without having to tap Masticore. Once again this is a very powerful card if you are running anything that needs a big hitter on turn 5."
