"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from Magic Gathering, and now I'm going to discuss the card Terror. Terror is black staple. It has been around since the beta. A very powerful card that is a common from your basic set and it has been around since alpha. It's an instant which means it can be played during any phase of the game and between any phase of the game in response to actions or to declaring or declaring phases and Terror costs you 1 and a black to play. Now, what terror does is it destroys target nonartifact, nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated. Once again, this is creature destruction with no regeneration. Again, very powerful because it destroys the creature and it can't be regenerated. Once again, the only drawback to this card is that it targets nonartifact, nonblack creature so if you run across a deck with any artifact or black creatures then this card is worthless which means that if you are running against an artifact block deck that you cannot destroy any of the creatures, which is what you would do, throw it sideboard after the first game, this card on the deck. However, most players, especially in today's environment run all colors except for black, and black and another color and the current environment is not heavy artifact creature based so this card is very important."
