"Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we will be discussing artifacts from Magic the Gathering. And now we're going to talk about Battered Golem. Battered Golem is an artifact creatured Golem he isn't common once again and Battered Golem costs you 3 to play. Again it costs you 3 manna to put in play and you're getting a 3/2, which is pretty even for the manna; however he is going to have a negative because he is a 3/2 and you're getting a 3/2 for 3. But what he does is Battered Golem doesn't un-tap during your un-tap step. However if you want to un-tap him and use him then he also has the ability; right underneath him that allows you to do so, which is whenever an artifact comes into play you may un-tap Battered Golem. Once again it says whenever an artifact comes into play; does not mean that an artifact you control has to come into play, it means any artifact. So if your opponent is running artifact as well, then every time he lays an artifact you can un-tap Battered Golem or if Battered Golem is tapped then you need to play an artifact to un-tap him."
