"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. And now, we're going to go over Peek. Peek is a powerful blue card. It is a staple; it is a utility card from the blue set. It will cost you one. It is a common. It's 20 to 25 cents, and what this does is it allows you to look at target player's hand. When you play the spell, you would grab the opponent's hand, or they would give their hand over to you and you will look at it. You do not get to do anything to it, but this allows you to know everything that the player has in their hand, which allows you to better prepare your deck for the next hand or for the next couple of hands down the road. You exactly know what to play and how you should be playing your counters and your remaining [SOUNDS LIKE] spells or how you should be saving them for special creatures and/or special spells. In addition to letting you look at the player's hand, it will also allow you to draw a card. This is a very powerful tool because you would use this to draw a card. Once again, cycling through your library is one of the most important things in magic that way you can get your cards from your library to your hand and inevitably into play. Once again, your cards do you no good in the library unless you have a special ability. You need to get them into play."
