"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering" and now I'm going to discuss Assassinate. Assassinate is another sorcery card from the black color of magic gathering. It is a very powerful card that has been around for quite sometime and is one of those utility creature destruction cards. Now, what this does, it is common so you can find it with 20 25 cents at your local gaming store and if you are running creature destruction, then you need this card. Assassinate cost you 2 and a black to play and you destroy target tapped creature. Now, once again during your turn, there are creatures that attacked you last turn, you can destroy any one of them. Once again, destruction means they cannot be regenerated but destroyed as this in the by laws of magic means it that card cannot be regenerated, and you destroyed target tapped creature so when your opponent was attacking and you blocked that big creature and he is killing off your creatures using that big creature, since that creature is now attacked, you can now destroy it."
