"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". And now we're going to discuss Hidden Horror. Hidden Horror is another one of those creatures that has been around since the beta. It is 1 and 2 black to play. It's a creature - horror, which means, it gets benefits for cards that bolster horrors. It is an uncommon from your basic set, as we see here 10thj edition, and is a 4/4. Now, hold on a minute, we're getting a 4/4 for a converted mana cost of 3 instead of a converted mana cost of 5 or 6. Well, that means there's going to be a negative ability on this card, and, but this is when Hidden Horror comes to the play, sacrifice it unless you discard a creature card which means you could play this card, but all you have to do when you play this card is discard a creature card from your hand, and you have a 4/4 in play on turn three. It's a very, very powerful card, if you're running a creature-based deck, because you're going to have another creature in your hand that you are more than likely willing to discard to get a 4/4 out on the board in turn three which most 4/4 won't hit the board until turn five or four at the earliest, but usually it's five or six before 4/4s hit the board. So it's a very powerful card."
