Ego Erasure Blue Card in Magic the Gathering

"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Ego Erasure. It is two and a blue from the blue block from Lorwyn. It's a very, very powerful spell. Once again, it is a tribal instant, which means it's an instant to tribal [INDISCERNIBLE] tribal which is new for Lorwyn. You will know that it has a creature type. The creature type here is shapeshifter, so therefore anything that affects shapeshifters will affect this card. Also we have here--that is a Changeling that this card, this instant, is every and all creature types at all times, which means that if you have any cards that lower the cost of anything from giants to zombies, then this card will essentially be cheaper to play. What this card does is that creatures that a target player controls, i.e., your opponent, will get negative 2, negative zero and lose all creature types until end of turn. The reason you would like to play this is because in the environment now you have a lot of boost creatures that boost a certain type of card or creature type and this essentially gets rid of that for an entire turn and also takes away their attack power of your opponent's creatures."
