"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. And now, we're going to talk about Scattering Stroke. Scattering Stroke, as you can see here, is two and a blue. It's a spell, out of the Lorwyn block. It is an uncommon. It is an instant which means that it can be played during any phase of the game. It's out of the blue, as you can see from the border, and it will cost you two blue. And this is a counter spell, which means this spell can counter a spell that another opponent has played which is why you can play it as an instant in between their phases. Also, this counter spell has counter-target spell, clash with an opponent. Once again, clashing is removing the top card of your library, exposing it or revealing it, and the converted mana cost, whoever is higher, wins the clash. And then once again, if you win the clash, at the beginning of your next main phase, you may add X to your mana pool, where X is a converted mana cost of the spell that was countered. And now, we're going to go over Telling Time. Telling Time is a spell. It's one and a blue. It's out of your basic set; it's an uncommon, out of 10th edition, as you can see from this icon. This is an instant which means you can play it in between or during any phase of the game. It is blue; it will cost you one and a blue. And your ability is you get to look at the top three cards of your library and you may put one of the cards into your hand, one of the cards on the top of your library and one of the cards on the bottom of your library. This is a very useful tool for cycling through your deck and getting rid of cards that you might not potentially be able to use in the next upcoming turns. Once again, you get to put one in your library at the bottom which essentially gets rid of it for the game and one on the top that you want to play next turn, and you also get to put one in your hand which makes this a very powerful spell for one and a blue."
