"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". Here we have Thorntooth Witch. Thorntooth Witch is another uncommon creature of the Lorwyn set. It is a treefolk shaman, which means it gets benefit from being a treefolk and a shaman, if you have cards to boost treefolk or shaman. Now, treefolk tree--Thorntooth Witch cost you 5 and a black to play, this a 3/4 treefolk shaman, so you're getting a 3/4 for a converted mana cost of 6, which means you know you're going to get an ability, and in fact you're going to get a really cool ability in this case which is whenever you play a treefolk spell, it's another treefolk spell, you may have target creature get +3/-3 until end of turn. Now, you can use this either on your creatures, or you can use this on your opponent's creatures, in order to kill them off, because once again, once the toughness is reduced to zero, then that creature automatically dies and deals no damage. This is a very powerful card to play in your treefolk deck."
