Bog Hoodlums Black Card in Magic the Gathering

"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". Now, I'm going to discuss Bog Hoodlums. Bog Hoodlums is another one of those black cards from the Lowryn set. It's a common card that can be pretty powerful if played correctly. Bog Hoodlums costs you 5 and a black, and you're getting a 4/1 creature. Now, once again, this does not seem all that beneficial because it costs you 6 production mana cost for a 4/1 creature, instead of a 3/3 creature, or a 2/2 creature with an ability, or a 4/3 creature. Now, also a downside to this card is that Bog Hoodlums can't block. However, since it can't block, it is known as a constant attacker, which means you have to constantly keep him from blocking, but that also means that your opponent always has to think about him attacking. Often, when Bog Hoodlums comes in play, you clash with an opponent, which means you reveal the top card of your library, and your opponent will reveal the top card of his/her library, and whoever has a highest converted mana cost on the card, so again, converted mana cost is the colorless plus the assigned colors, so in this case this is 6. Whoever has the highest converted mana cost wins. And if you win the clash, you put a +1/+1 counter on Bog Hoodlums, which means that you can play this card and get a 5/2 out of it. It can be constant attacker and a constant nuisance for your opponent."
