"Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic the Gathering. And, here we have Leonin Bladetrap. Leonin Bladetrap is a very powerful card. It's named after the Leonin, which is the race in the white set that you will see in Magic. It's again, Leonin are defenders. They're kind of cat-like. This is an uncommon. This is an artifact and it costs you three to play. Leonin Bladetrap costs you three colorless mana and you may play Leonin Bladetrap at anytime you can play an instant. Once again, at anytime you can play an instant. Which means, between any phase or during any phase of the game. Well, the reason you would do this is because you play Leonin Bladetrap and down here it has the ability that you pay two more and you sacrifice Leonin Bladetrap. And, Bladetrap deals two damage to each attacking creature without flying. So, if you just got attacked and you just defended and you cause damage to the creatures but not enough to kill them off you would play Leonin Bladetrap and then you would pay two and sacrifice Leonin Bladetrap. So, for five you can deal two damage to every other attacking creature and hopefully kill them all off."
