"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Aquitect's Will. It's a blue card out of the blue block. It's from the Lorwyn expansion. It's a common; it's 20-25 cents. It's a Tribal Sorcery, which is new. Tribal Sorcery is new to the game but it means that it's also a type of spell. Now here, we have--it's a Tribal Sorcery merfolk. So once again, it counts as a merfolk spell. And this is a really interesting card to play because for one blue, you get the ability to put a flood counter, which is a little counter on a target land. That land is now an island in addition to the other types that it already is. So if you put it on a swamp, then it is an island and a swamp, which means it could produce swamp and island or blue mana. But the reason you would do this is not to give your opponents an advantage, it gives you an advantage because merfolk often have the tendency to have island walk, which means that they will become unblockable as long as you can put a flood counter on your opponent's land."
