"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Crafty Pathmage. Now, Crafty Pathmage is, once again, out of the basic set. He's been around a really long time. He's a common. It's 20-25 cents. And if you're running a wizard deck of any kind, you should definitely put this little mage in there. The reason why is because of her ability. You're paying two and a blue which means the converted mana cost is three but she's only a 1/1, which means her ability has to be really cool because you're paying two mana for it. Her ability is when you tap her, you can tap her and have target creature the power to or less become unblockable. Now, once again, this makes another creature you posses unblockable. This is very, very good for instances in which when as you see on the card that if damaged, combat damage is done to a player that often trips abilities, especially in the blue set, especially with merfolk and Cephalids and things of that nature, because there are cards out there when you deal combat damage to a player, for instance, you either get an extra turn or you get the ability to draw an extra card or get an ability to do a lot of things that you would not be able to do."
