"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". And here we have "Severed Legion". "Severed Legion" is another powerful utility card for your zombie deck. Once again, it is a creature - zombie. It's a common out of the basic set, 10th edition with 1 and 2 black to play, which means that the converted mana cost is 3. Here we have is a 2/2 creature with an ability so it's a hundred percent even on mana production to power/toughness ratio because of the ability, and this ability is quite powerful because this ability is fear. Now what fear does is it means that this creature can only be blocked by creatures that are either artifacts and/or black creatures. So, this creature can only blocked by artifact and black creatures, which means if a person is not running a deck with artifact or black creatures, then this card will constantly be unblockable. So again, this is what makes this card a utility card that is very powerful and can hit a lot of players and their decks for 2 every turn."
