"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". And here we have Nekrataal. Nekrataal is a powerful card out of your basic set he has been around since Ice Age, and he is uncommon, which means he's roughly 40 or 45 cents at your local gaming store. He is a creature "Human Assassin". Now, anything with a sub-creature-type assassin is going to give you a really cool ability. It's about creature destruction. Now, Nekrataal cost you 2 and 2 black to play, which means he has a converted mana cost of 4 and he is a 2/1, which means that you're getting 2/1 for 4, which means he is actually going to probably have 2 abilities. And as we can see here, he does. First ability he has is that he has first strike, which means he deals his combat damage before the other creature, which means he can kill off any creature that has the toughness of 2 or lower before that creature kills them off since he only has 1 on the defense. Also, extra ability is when Nekrataal comes into play destroys target non artifact, nonblack creature. That creature can't be regenerated. Once again, a very powerful card to get rid of your opponent's creatures and put a creature in the play that can be used as blocker or/and a constant attacker."
