"Highway Robber" is a very powerful card. It's a utility card from the basic set, and the reason it's a powerful utility card is because it is going to give you a very very powerful ability. It's a "Human Mercenary," and Highway Robber cost you 2 and 2 black to play, which means the this card with a converted mana cost of 4 is giving you a 2/2 creature, which means it's going to have an ability. Well, this ability is very powerful. When "Highway Robber" comes in a play, you gain 2 life and target player or target opponent loses 2 lives. What this is means is, that when he comes into the play, not only you're going up 2 life, which is very rare for black deck, for a black-colored card, but your opponent also loses 2 life. Now, this is very powerful because this is not damage.
