"Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic the Gathering. And now I'm going to discuss Phyrexian Vault. Phyrexian Vault is one of those artifacts that you will see heavy in green-black creature destruction decks. It is a basic, out of the basic edition. It is an uncommon, and once again, it will cost you forty; fifty cents at your local gaming store. It is an artifact; Phyrexian Vault costs 3 to play, is 3 colorless, and it's a very powerful card, because it gives you an option that most artifacts won't give you. But it's 2 and a tap, sacrifice a creature, draw a card. Now the reason you would play this is A, you get to draw a card; B, is because you get to sack a creature. Now some people don't like to sacrifice creatures; however, people who play black and red know that a lot of creatures have; when they go into the graveyard from play, they have abilities, like they do damage, or they deal loss life, or a creature gets minus something, minus something until end of turn. So, you need a way to sack the creature. Well, this artifact right here, which is cheap, gives you a way to not only sack the creature, and yield those benefits, but it also allows you to draw a card. This makes this card very powerful, especially in blue/black control domination decks."
