"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Silvergill Adept. Now, this is, once again, out of the Lorwyn set, as you can see, because, once again, he's a merfolk wizard. And right now, Lorwyn is heavy in the merfolk. He's uncommon, as you can see by the icon. He also have that--he's one and a blue. Down here, you see he's 2/1, which means you're getting, basically, a free ability. However, the reason you're getting this free ability is because, in addition to paying the cost of Silvergill Adept, then you have to reveal a merfolk card from your hand or you have to pay three extra to play him. Now, once again, the reason that you would have this is because of the environment. When you're building a merfolk deck, this would not be a problem because you would have plenty of merfolk in your hand. Once again, you're able to play him on turn two and you get another little ability. Because when he comes into play, you get to draw a card, which means you get to take a card from your hand, put it in play and then you get to replace him with a card from your library. It helps you cycle through faster. Once again, a very powerful card for a merfolk deck."
