"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Merrow Reejerey. It's a two and a blue. He is an uncommon out of the Lorwyn set. Now, the Lorwyn set is actually trying to bring back something that has actually really never been really powerful. It's actually the merfolk race. The merfolk race's magic ability has been attributed weak and have always been used to aid other things, but they're trying to make a name for themselves on this set just like elves and/or goblins. Now, here we have--it costs you three, converted mana cost of three; 2/2, however. You're going to get two abilities, one which is really powerful. All other merfolk creatures that you control get plus one, plus one; so you just boosted up merfolk creatures. And whenever you play a merfolk's bell, you may tap or untap target permanent, which means you can tap other people's permanent or you can untap your own permanents so you can use more benefits, [SOUNDS LIKE] Ayi mana or abilities. It's a great card to have if you're building a merfolk or a merfolk soldier deck."
