"Hi this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village. Today we're going to be discussing Magic: the Gathering the card game. The next ability we're going to go over, is triggered ability. Triggered abilities happen when an event occurs and an ability is triggered by said event. 1st off we have Underworld Dreams. It's an enchantment. It's ability is: Whenever an opponent draws a card; that would be the event and once again, drawing a card is optional. But Whenever an opponent draws a card, Underworld Dreams deals 1 damage to him or her. Next card we have here is Lys Alana Huntmaster. Her special, triggered, ability is: Whenever you play an Elf spell, you may put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature token into play. So that is to say, whenever you play an Elf spell, that is the triggered event, it triggers this ability and you may put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature into play. Down here we have Aven Fisherman, which is a creature that has flying, but the triggered ability is: When Aven Fisher is put into a graveyard from play, you may draw a card. So that is to say, whenever he is killed/destroyed and he goes to the graveyard you get to draw a card. Over here, we have Hornet Harasser. He once again is also a creature. He has a very special, and unique, triggered card. When Hornet Harraser is put into a graveyard from play, means whenever he's killed or destroyed, target creature gets -2/-2 until the end of turn. And these are all triggered events."
