"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Aven Windreader. He's a three, two blue, converted mana cost of five. However, you're going to get a lot of benefits from this card. It's a 3/3, which means you got to know he's going to have two abilities because, once again, you paid five. So he's flying, which of course means he can only be blocked by creatures with flying and reach. You're going to see a lot of flying creatures with the blue set. However, he also has bird, soldier, wizard as his creature type. There are a lot of cards that build up birds, soldiers and wizards. So you can, in theory, have him get all the benefits from each type of those cards. Now, these cards come in the form of enchantments and other creatures, either the birds, other soldiers or other wizards. He also has another ability which you can play as many times as you want because it's not a tap ability. One and a blue, target player reveals the top card of his or her library. Now, this is very, very useful, especially when playing other blue decks or red decks or any deck in general, because you get to look at the top card and know what's coming in the next turn."
