"Hi this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village. Today we're going to be discussing Magic: the Gathering the card game. And now we're going to go over creature cards. Now, creature cards are your little army cards. These are the guys you want to play that stay in play unless otherwise said on the card. And they vary in cost. Over here in this corner we have a little green creature. However, whenever a player plays a giant spell, you may put a 1/ 1 counter on Elvish Handservant, which is what this guy is. So, he has a little ability, but once again he costs 1. Now up here you have another creature. He costs 1 colorless and a plains. He is a 2/1 creature with his defense a little lacking but his offense pretty good. His special ability is first strike. Which is why he has more offense then defense. Now we have some of the bigger creatures. This is Lord of the Pit. He's 4 colorless and 3 swamps. He comes in as a 7/7 creature with flying and trample. However, at the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a creature other than Lord of the Pit or Lord of the Pit deals 7 damage to you. And finally, down here, we have one of my all time favorites. This is Darksteel Colossus. He's mana cost is 11. That is one of the highest mana costs ever in Magic. He is an artifact creature that has trample and is indestructible, which means he can not be destroyed and lethal damage or direct damage, more than his life, to him from a spell, does not kill him. He also is an 11/11."
