"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. Here, we have Aven Fisher. Aven Fisher is a great creature out of the blue set. Once again, he's three and a blue. He is another creature that has been around since the beta release of Magic. Here, we have a creature. He's a bird soldier, which means he gets benefits for anything that benefits birds and anything that benefits soldiers. Once again, these two types are seen all the time as having benefits especially when you're playing blue/white. White has a lot of soldiers and gives soldiers a lot of benefits. Here, we also see that he came with two abilities. So, once again, we're getting even. He's a 2/2, two abilities, four converted mana cost. He has flying, which means he can only be blocked by flying and/or reach. Also, we have when Aven Fisher is put into a graveyard from play and you may draw a card. Once again, you get to draw a card when he leaves play. So not only did you get to play him, but you also get the advantage of having an extra draw a card once he leaves play or he gets killed off, which means you can sacrifice him or just have him do combat damage until he's dead."
