"Hi this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village. Today we're going to be discussing Magic: the Gathering the card game. And now we're going to take a look at the bottom half of this card. The bottom half of this card is the most important part, besides casting cost. In the block here you're going to find what this card's special abilities are. Notice that this card is a flying card and has vigilance. On most of these cards it will tell you what these abilities mean. Which is just usually off of the basic block because if you have expansion cards they automatically assume that you know what these cards abilities mean. Down here we have a quote from the book and storyline of Magic: the Gathering. And over we have, since this is a creature card, a small block that has numbers in it. The right hand number is the creature's toughness. This toughness is a 4 which means he can sustain up to 4 damage before dying. You count damage down, so if 4 are dealt to him, then he would die. If 3 or less were dealt to him, he would live. Now on the other side, we have his strength or power, depending on what you want to call it. It's also a 4, which means he deals 4 damage to the person he attacks or a creature that blocks him. Down here in the bottom left hand corner. You will usually see a little artist's brush and a person's name. This is the artist that painted the picture that is on the card. This artist changes between various sets and even changes in-between sets. You will also see the copyright information from Wizards of the Coast, for the Magic and the expansion that you are currently looking. And to the right of the copyright information and the Wizards of the Coast, Inc., you will find a couple more numbers. The first number that you come across from right to left, is the card staple number. After the slash is the total amount of cards in this block or expansion block. So as you can see, this card is 39 out of 383."
