"Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today, we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic: the Gathering. And now, we're going to discuss Kraken's Eye. Kraken's Eye, once again, is an artifact. It is currently Type-2 Legal, although this picture is from a set that is not currently in the block. This is an artifact card, which means you'll be spending colorless mana on it. Kraken's Eye costs you two to play, and is what we like to call a "life-giver." This card is a life-giver because what it does is, is it gives you life! Whenever a player plays a blue spell, then you may gain one life. Once again, Kraken's Eye is, as related to blue, so, whenever a person plays a blue spell, you gain a life. Now, we'd put this in a deck that is blue, or put this in a deck wherein you know your opponent is playing a heavy blue deck."
