"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village. And today, we'll be discussing the blue cards from the blue block of Magic: The Gathering. And now, we're going to talk about Aethersnipe. Aethersnipe is a very interesting creature. It's an elemental from blue. It's common out of the Lorwyn set. Actually, this card has been brought back because this card actually first came out in Ice Age and Tempest. But here, we have Aethersnipe. It's five colorless and one blue. It costs you six to play. MAN: Three, two, one. MIKE LOPEZ: And now, we're going to discuss Aethersnipe. Aethersnipe is a very cool card. It's an elemental out of the Lorwyn block. Actually, it first appeared on the scene in Ice Age and Tempest. But here, we have five colorless and a blue to play. It's, again, a 4/4 creature. However, once again, you paid six, which means there's got to be a cool ability somewhere. Here we have, when Aethersnipe comes into play, you return target non-land permanent to its owner's hand. A non-land permanent is anything that is actually on the board. This could be a creature, an enchantment, an artifact, an equipment. It could be anything that is permanently on the table. It can be removed and put back in his owner's hand, which means, once again, this is a great bounce effect for creatures because, once again, creatures come in summoning sick, so when this hits the ground, you can put a creature, if you want, back in its owner's hand and therefore it has to come back in play and it still--and hasn't go through summoning sickness all over again. Also, once again, you're also getting a 4/4. Now, once again, 4/4 is pretty powerful. Once again, the most powerful creature is 12/12. So this is a middle of the road creature with a very cool ability, and he also has an evoke cost. You have one and two blue. And when this comes into play, you have to sacrifice it. However, it did come into play, which means you also get to use the effect of returning that target non-land permanent to its owner's hand. So for three, you can bounce a card any way."
