"Hi. I'm Mike Lopez, with Expert Village. And today we'll be discussing artifacts from Magic: the Gathering. And now I'm going to go over Aether Vial. Aether Vial is a very important artifact that, as you can see, also came from the Mirrodin block. It is an uncommon, and will be legal probably in the next few sets for type two legal. And Aether Vial costs you one mana to play. It's one colorless. It is an artifact, which means it just stays on the table, permanently. And what this card does is at the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a charge counter on Aether Vial, means you may. You do not have to. But you want to put a charge counter on Aether Vial until you get enough of them, or until you get enough for the creatures you have, because Aether Vial's artifact ability is: when you tap it, you may put a creature card with converted mana cost equal to the number of counters on Aether Vial into play, from your hand, which means you do not have to pay its mana cost. Which means you get a free creature, as long as you have enough counters to equal the converted mana cost."
