"Hi this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village. Today we're going to be discussing Magic: the Gathering the card game. Now we're going to discuss some of the colors associated with this game. This is the color white. The color white's mana source is given by plains and is the symbol of the sun. This is known as the holy group because you have human and creature characters that are either cleric or monk cleric or knights or angels or priests. And all of them basically do protection for the character which you are. You have your disenchants, which destroy artifacts and enchantments and you have your automatic gain life spells to play, as well, in white. White is known as the protection cards, as well as, the life builders. White is also known as the honorable set of cards because it has mainly, protect, protect creature, protect yourself. Every creature that has a special ability is either a gain life or a protect creature card, giving it higher toughness and strength or just giving it higher toughness. Also you'll find the ability Vigilance in white because it is a non-tap effect. A lot of non-tap effects, that you can also find in white, where the target creature does not tap during certain phases of the game and this is why white is known as a defensive and life gaining segment of Magic: the Gathering."
