Magic: The Gathering is a collectible card game introduced in 1994 that boasts an amazing 6 million plus players worldwide. The game is played by two or more players who use decks of cards (or libraries) to battle with magical spells, items, and fantastic creatures depicted on the cards. The game was derived from role playing games, but bares a closer resemblance to bridge or poker. The complex rules and card meanings will challenge even the most avid card-player. One of the most interesting aspects of Magic is the color of the different cards. White cards represent order, blue represent knowledge, black is the color of death, red represents chaos and green is the color of life in this card game.

"Hi, this is Mike Lopez for Expert Village and today we're going to discuss and show you the white color from Magic: the Gathering. We're going to show you how the cards work, how they interlace together, how they are done in combat scenarios and why you would use them and why you would want to put them in your white deck or a deck that has white in it. All right and now we're going to discuss Burrenton Forge-Tender. Once again, this is now out of the white block. White is a very, very defensive oriented card. Very, very touch and go. Once again it costs you a white. It's a Kithkin Wizard. Once again, now you're going to see Kithkin. Kithkin is a race in Magic specifically of the white cards. There are some cross-over Kithkins but most of them are white creatures. They're all about holiness and defense. This is an Uncommon. This card, this creature has protection from red, which means no red source can deal damage or affect this card at all. No Instant damage, no remove from game, nothing. Nothing red. That includes red and black, blue and red, nothing red. Nothing that has red on the card. Also, as an addition, it's a 1/1, but with one you're getting two extra abilities: protection from red and sacrifice Burrenton Forge-Tender, prevent all damage a red source would do to you this turn, or would deal this turn. Which means that if a red source is dealing damage to something else, you, a creature, you can prevent that damage by sacrificing this card. It makes him a very powerful card in the defensive world."
