How to Attack Between Trees in Heroscape

"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss, shooting through the evergreen trees that come in the expansion set, Road to the Forgotten Forest in Heroscape, the tabletop game. Now here we have Syvarris, our hero, who has a range of nine and our little knight guy. Now, Severus, as we see right here, has a clear line of sight through these evergreen trees at the back of the soldier. Now, once again, this line of sight is clearly seen and clearly visible because, once again, line of sight is very important because the rules state that you cannot see through and or shoot through these evergreen trees. Now, on the other hand if Syvarris was over here behind these two trees. There is actually a narrow -- there's actually a narrow slit between these two trees where he can actually still see the back of the knight. Now, Syvarris can actually shoot through this narrow inlet at the soldier because he has line of sight. So, again, the rules state that he can see through even if the trees are standing right next to each other on the hexagonal spaces and or tiles on the base. Once again, you would have to make sure that Syvarris has turned the right way for line of sight and can see the hittable parts on the soldier but these are two instances of shooting through trees. One that's really, clearly visible and the other that you have to get down at eye level and make sure that the line of sight is still there. "
