"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss moving through ladders. Now this another important part about ladders that you must realize when ladders are in play. Now as we see here, we have our little character down here, who is currently behind this ladder. Now, he wants to come around and go up the ladder. However, he cannot instantly just pass through the ladder and climb up, because the ladder prevents him from going through just as it prevents you from being adjacent and or in engagement with a creature that is on the other side of the ladder. It is a preventive force or an obstacle. So in order for this creature to go over to this side of the board or to go up the ladder, this creature must go around the ladder and then go up the ladder or this creature has to go around the ladder to get over here. Once again this is very important to realize that you cannot pass through the ladder just like you cannot be adjacent to and or engaged through a ladder. "
