"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to go over jumping or falling off a ladder. Now here we have Syvarris, who is on the ladder and instead of going all the way down the ladder, you decide that you just want to jump from the ladder down to the base which is a perfectly legal move. Now however, once again, when he does this jump, falling applies. Now, falling is, is going to take falling damage if he goes further down than his height. He is a height of five so you would count the height that he is up when he jumped. Which he was up here and he jumped all the way down which means that you would have to count. Now, once again you do not count the ladder spaces, you have to count the actual height of the tower. Now, every two bricks, once again, is one tile so we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. So he jumped 15 spaces. Well he is a height of 5 so he is going to roll for one fall damage and since it is exactly ten over his height and there will be an additional fall die added for his fall damaged because he jumped ten tiles down from his height. Now on the other hand, if you wanted to take a less damage, he could jump over to a level that is next to the block and he would take less because these tiles are higher up. But remember, that when jumping from the ladder to any base that you have to count the height of the tower and not the ladder spaces because ladder spaces are different and do not follow the same rules as the tile spaces that are listed on the tower itself. "
