How to Move Up & Down Ladders in Heroscape

"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to go up --and now we're going to go over moving up and down ladders. Now here we have, Syvarris down here at the bottom which he has a move of five and you'll notice that your ladder has little grooves for your character to sit in and you can stay on the ladder if you just place the character in the groove and each one of these grooves counts as a move in space. So we have 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 so at the end of the turn you would be still on the ladder because it would take an additional one to move all the way to the top so you will stay on the ladder as its being moved up and the same goes for if he was moving down off the tower. We would count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. He wouldn't quite be on the bottom yet so you would have to place him still on the ladder and if you wanted him to attack anything you would adjust his line of sight towards the creature that you want to attack and the next turn you will allow him to go from the ladder back onto the game board.
