How to Build Land in Basic Heroscape

"MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike with the Expert Village, and now we're going to discuss how to attach pieces and create your battlefield world. Now what you have, once again, are hexagonal pieces and as you'll see, there are grooves running alongside, each side of this hexagonal piece, and they correspond to grooves that are running along side all the hexagonal pieces that you have for your world build set. Now what you're going to do to attach a piece is you're going to take a hexagonal shape and you're going to match up the grooves on this side to the grooves on the side you wish it to attach it to. In this scenario, we want to attach it to here and what you do instead of jamming them together like this, you're going to gently slide them from top to bottom holding one-hexagonal piece steady while you slide the other end; and you take them and slide them in, and then you go to move on to the next piece. Now remember, they slide down so they stay in place during the game. Now, when you do this, you also want to build higher levels, so what you would do is you will take a piece and you will place it on top of the piece, and make sure that they'll match up and fit into the grooves that are on the piece. Notice now that this is not going to move. Now what you also want to do is attach things like water to anywhere on your platform and as you will notice, they will also slide into the hexagonal pieces you already have."
