How to Arrange Hand in Double Six for Dominoes

"Hi! I’m Nathan Holsey, the author of the book The Dominologist. On behalf of expertvillage.com, in this clip I’m going to show you how to pull and arrange your hand in the game of double six. For more information you can contact me by my website, thedominologist.com. Once they’ve been shuffled, mixed and washed well, each player will pull. You’ll pull 7 if you’re playing a full board which is 4 people, four people can play. So 4 people pull 7 bones each, 7, 7, 7, etc. If there are 2 people playing, you have a choice to pull 7 dominoes or 9 dominoes, so let’s just pull 7 and arrange it. So we will send the rest to the bone yard. Most people who like playing dominoes, I'm serious, pick up their dominoes and hold them like this. Notice I have four 5’s, two 3’s, one 2, one 6, two blanks, two 1’s. This is how I would arrange it, like so. I would put my 5’s next to each other and my 3’s next to each other and of course in my hand, again like I said, like this with all the 5’s next to each other. A lot of people also hold their dominoes on the table like this but I don’t recommend it because if someone were to hit the board with a domino, it could possibly knock your dominos over. "
