" Hi Malik the magic guy for expertvillage.com. Now I want to show you how to use some one handed cuts to reveal a card that someone selected. Now later on as you are studying card magic, you will learn ways to control cards to the top and bottom using shuffles. In this case let's use an example, like if you found a card using a key card and you have cut it through the bottom of the deck. Now you can either do a charlier, and if you cut it like this, then you come around, you want to dig your fingers in right here and then you can push this card out as you open your hand and flip that card over. Let me show you that again. That kind of requires big hands and a lot of practice. But I wanted to show it to you so you can practice. So you are doing your charlier cut. You are going to dig you finger in here. Then you are going to push the card out as you open your hand and flop it over with you fingers. Just like that; and that is the cool way to reveal a card. I will show you one more time kind of full speed here. Just like that you can kick that over. Now there is another one using the second one handed cut that I have showed you and because your fingers drag on the bottom of the deck you can use it to pull out a card. So once again we want the selected card on the bottom of the deck. We are going to cut it. We can just pull this card out and flip it right back over to the top of the deck. I will show you that one more time. We want the selected card on the bottom of the deck. We are going to reach around like this cut it and drag our finger on the bottom, we are going to take that two with us and bring it right around just like that. Now if you practice this enough you may actually even be able to get the card to fly out of the deck. The way that you do that is you pull this out so you get some spring; this definitely requires some practice, and you are going to take your middle finger and just spin the card like that and if you get really good you can sometimes even catch it. We are going to give it a try right now. That wasn't a good example but you can. Try it one more time. You can even catch the card and show them a flashy way to reveal the card. So that is some ways to reveal a card in a one handed cut."
