"Hi everybody! Let me take you through the basic workings of a taper or stripper deck. One of the reasons these are commonly called a stripper deck, that's the industry name for them, is that the cards are stripped. You can almost see it a little bit right here that there's a little taper right here. They shave some of the material right off the edge of the cards. What the means is if you take a card and you turn it end for end this way and put it back in the deck. It's really hard to see on the camera, but there's a tiny little piece sticking out right there, and because of that you're able to gain easy access to that card. Now, there's a lot of different ways to apply this. There's a lot of different ideas for how to use this. One of the benefits of this is that this will function as a regular deck. All the tricks you can do with a normal deck, you can do with this deck as well, so that's going to come into play a little later. I'm going to show you some cool techniques on how to use this."
