The Columns Ball Juggling Trick

"Alright, so let me show you one of my other favorite juggling tricks. This is columns, this is what is looks like. Now there's a couple ways to do columns and I'm going to show you the way I do it most of the time, and then I'm going to show you another way to do it. Now the way columns works is you're going to do two in one hand here, and you'll see there's an outer ball and an inner ball. What I'm going to do is with this hand I'm going to throw this ball up and down, and I'm going to try to get it the same height and the same timing as the outer ball. So it's going to look like this, and I'm trying to get these as close to the same height as I can. Now there's some people who do columns where they're basically doing this, the inner ball is switching from hand to hand, but instead of holding the extra ball in their hand, they're throwing it. So it will look the same, pretty much, but the center ball is actually switching hands. So that's another way you can do columns. But the way I've always been comfortable doing it is you just do the two in one hand, and you throw the other ball the same height, or at least try to, just like that. And you can go right back into a regular juggling pattern and then back into columns, just like that, back and forth. So that's another cool trick for you to work on based on the two in one hand idea. "
